so, it's the end of the term, and we have to deliver all assignments given to us thourough the semester, updated and perfect, in one big folder.
We also have to deliver a sketchbook with sketches for all the assignments.
So, my sketches are all over the place, so I have to arrange them properly.
Also, most of my sketches are on my Mac, so I have to print and glue.
I hate glue.
And I have to make headline papers, like Assignment 2 as headline, then:
This assignment was a bitch, but I decided to go with a simple design to avoid overkill, please note that the fonts used in this assignment was Garamond and Myriad Pro, because the client use these fonts in their marketing. Furthermore, the colors I have used is the color used in the logo the company used in the time period I wish to express, and BLABLABLA.
I also want to do my sketchbook the same, first with a paper that tells what assignment these sketches are for, and by each sketch a note telling why I thought of this and why I discarded the idea.
So up until now I have perfected (or tried to complete) the assignments, and now all that is left is making the headline papers and arrange everything.
Buuut...
I have only an A4 printer, some assignments are A3, so those I can't print until delivery day.
Furthermore, I have nothing to deliver my sketchbook in.
I think sketchbook will be A4 format, but I don't have anything to put them in.
So I need to buy something fancy, and I don't like that idea.
I haz no money.
AAAAND.
The last assignment was to design to book covers, and to design the first 12 pages in one of the books.
Fair enough.
The first 5 pages like the title page and copyright page ETC I just did in photoshop.
But when I came to page 6 I was like WOT.
How do I write so the end of the lines are even and not all over the place?
Answer: InDesign.
But I had never effin opened InDesign before.
Due to the awesum swineflu I missed school when we covered InDesign.
But after a couple of hours I had grasped the concept of the Master Page and how to insert page numbers (that was a bitch), but I have absolutely no idea how it all turns out when I'm gonna print.
Is it gonna be the right size?
I plotted in the size when I opened the document, but.. Will it print in that size on a A4 paper?
Gawd... Only time will tell.
And I have to install the damn printer first. Oh well, it was just a matter of time until I had to do that.
This is a very long rant, but I need to get it all out.
There is also some written stuff to be turned in, and they have very strict rules on what goes where and... *sigh*
I just don't want to start on it...
Also!
No, scratch that.
I have no idea what I'm doing.
I also missed the presentation of the book assignment, so I have no idea if what I've done is correct...
I've sent messages to 3 different teachers with questions, but not ONE of them has answered.
Awww I just wanna diiiieeee............
